Welcome to the website of the War Graves Foundation Nederweert War Cemetery.

This is a tribute to 363 people who had the courage to fight for freedom and rights of their fellow human beings. The freedom and rights that our society today sometimes treats casually. It is now up to our generation to set an example by doing the right thing, and show respect by honoring those who could never enjoy freedom.

They died lonely far from home and often disappeared in anonymous graves.

Through this adoption project we try to give them a face and their stories are told again.
